Trader / Account Manager

Then we’re looking for you!

What will you do?

  • Maintain existing relationships and conduct negotiations with customers and suppliers
  • Explore new opportunities both domestically and internationally
  • Prepare quotations and ensure proper follow-up through to the final invoice
  • Create analyses using sales reports
  • Visit (international) trade fairs and manage your customer portfolio

Who are we looking for?

You have at least a demonstrable bachelor’s degree, preferably in a commercial or economic field. You are social and outgoing, and you have a knack for trading.

Some experience in a sales role within the food industry is an advantage. You have an excellent command of English (spoken and written). Knowledge of German and/or French / Spanish or another foreign language is a plus. You are stress-resistant, can work both independently and as part of a team, and you are available full-time.

Who is BFG Trading?

We are a small-scale team of both young and experienced colleagues in a dynamic company, part of parent company Boon Food Group, trading in a range of more than 10,000 products, both food and non-food.

We operate in both domestic and international markets — from full pallets to various wholesalers within the Netherlands to exporting sea containers to customers outside the EU. Our modern head office is located in the industrial area of Dordrecht.
