Meet the team
VLADIMIR
With Serbian roots, Vladimir came to the Netherlands during his younger years to start up trading activities in the food branch, mainly dealing with clients in the army, UN and NATO. This resulted into the establishment of his own trading company for a period of 16 years. During the time hereafter, Vladimir has fulfilled the role of interim management for several companies, which finally brought him to Boon Food Group. Vladimir is known for his strong, 20 years’ experience in food sector, direct-, driven- and no-nonsense attitude.
INGE
With East Holland roots, Inge has finished her degree at a young age in International Business at Avans University of Applied Sciences in South Brabant. After a solo-backpack journey of three months, she started her profession at a Dutch export company in food and non-food. Hereby she led a project in order to start up a new department for the Middle-East region. Once the project was running successfully and independently, she decided to take on another opportunity within Boon Food Group: BFG Trading. Inge is known for her great enthusiasm, social skills and quick learning capabilities.
Daniël
With North Brabant roots, Daniël joined Boon Food Group Trading as Assistant Account Manager in November 2022. After obtaining his Marketing & Communication diploma, he decided to further develop himself here. Besides his knowledge about football and skills at table tennis, he has a positive attitude and is a good team player in the office. With his social skills, flexibility and eagerness to learn, Daniël is always ready to assist wherever possible.
Isabella
With South Holland roots, Isabella has finished her degree in International Business focused on Asia at the Rotterdam Business School. Next to having an Asia focused studies, Isabella has lived close to 2 years in Japan, allowing her to get a better understanding of the Asian (working) culture. After having experienced both working in the FMCG and Travel Industry, she has now joined the BFG Trading team as Assistant Account manager per August of 2023.
Thierry
Meet Thierry, a gentle person with Dutch roots who spent a decade living in Belgium, blending the best of both cultures. His passions include the motorsport and aviation industry and his repository of fascinating random facts. Thierry is a perpetual learner, always seeking new knowledge and challenges. His optimistic mindset and strong social skills make him a valuable team player.
Maarten
Meet Maarten, a Leiden University graduate with a BA in International Studies, originally from rural Drenthe. Maarten’s academic journey has been enriched by internships in Germany and Turkey, where he gained invaluable insights into cross-cultural dynamics. Prior to joining our team, Maarten worked as a salesperson, specializing in bags and suitcases, honing his ability to understand and meet customer needs. With a deep understanding of global perspectives and a knack for interpersonal connections, Maarten brings a unique blend of academic rigor and practical experience to our team.
